Los Angeles

Hi everyone,

It is our last day of our holiday. Yesterday we went to Hollywood and did a tour of famous people's homes. We saw Katy Perry's house, the girls were excited about that. We were also shown were Justin Bieber lives, Cassidy loved that! We walked along Hollywood Boulevarde were all the famous people's stars are. I have added some photos! Last bit of shopping to use up our American money and then a 14hr flight home! See you next week. Be good for Mrs McDonald!

Las Vegas

Here are some photos of the fountains that happen outside our hotel. They go along to music and are spectatcular. Also in our hotel there was the world's largest chocolate fountain and a dress made out of chocolate. Mmm Mmm!

Las Vegas

Hi Everyone,

We took a helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon and had breakfast in the Canyon. It was amazing. We only went to the western rim, it is too big to see it all. I have added some photos. We also went to see "O" the Cirque de Soilel performance. It was the best one yet!

New York

Hi Everyone,
We are just finishing our tour of New York. It is huge. Gerringong fits into Central Park and Central pak is only a tiny piece of New York. Millions of people live in New York and they mostly live in small apartment buildings. They don't own cars as everything is in walking distance or only a subway or taxi ride away. We had fun visiting all of the tourist sites like - Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero ( very sad), Top of the Rock and Central Park. We rode tandem bikes around Central park, it took 2 hrs to ride around it. We haven't attempted a subway ride but we did have a ride in a horse and carriage to our hotel from Times Square.
Only 2 stops left until we fly home. Las Vegas and Los Angeles here we come!

The Carribean Cruise

The cruise was amazing, Cass and Mak danced in the Aqua theatre which was an open theatre at the back of the ship with the floor that covered the pool. It was a rough day at sea when they performed so it was a little tricky to hold their balance and land their tricks! Their second performance was in the Opal theatre which looked better than the theatres that you see in Sydney. Once again as they performed we went through a storm and it was pretty rocky but the whole troupe danced well.
We visited 3 islands on the cruise, St Thomas where we went snorkeling with turtles, St Maarten where we completed a downhill trek of the slaves that worked the sugar mill and in The Bahamas we went to a very expensive hotel that had a water park in it. We hope everyone is well and we will see you all soon.

Last Day in Orlando.

Hi Everyone,
It is our last night in Orlando, we spent the day at Animal Kingdom. We went on a safari ride and saw elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs and lots more. We convinced Makenzie to go on her first rollercoaster ride today. It was called Mount Everest...she didn't like it very much!
Yesterday was very exciting as the girls danced at Downtown Disney. A huge crowd stopped to watch them dance in the ampitheatre. I will post the video as soon as I have downloaded it.
I probably won't be able to blog over the next 7 nights as we are off on our cruise around the Carribean. The girls will be dancing on the cruise ship twice.
See if you can find Florida on a map and then the cities Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. This is where we are travelling to next.

Disneyworld

Hi Everyone,
Sorry we haven't posted anything until now but we have been busy from 5:30 am to midnight every day. So far we have visited Magic Kingdom, Sea World and Epcot. Our favourite so far has been Sea World. We saw Shamu the Killer Whale perform and some amazing dolphins perform. Tomorrow, Cassidy and Makenzie are performing in Disneyworld. We will put up some photos now and will add some more soon. I hope everyone is having a great time. Have a fantastic Easter.
