We are just finishing our tour of New York. It is huge. Gerringong fits into Central Park and Central pak is only a tiny piece of New York. Millions of people live in New York and they mostly live in small apartment buildings. They don't own cars as everything is in walking distance or only a subway or taxi ride away. We had fun visiting all of the tourist sites like - Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero ( very sad), Top of the Rock and Central Park. We rode tandem bikes around Central park, it took 2 hrs to ride around it. We haven't attempted a subway ride but we did have a ride in a horse and carriage to our hotel from Times Square.
Only 2 stops left until we fly home. Las Vegas and Los Angeles here we come!

I can't imagine living in such a place with sooo many people - no space at all. How has the weather been? - it looks warm with your clothing.
We managed to get Gabriella's room painted and the spare room. I threw out a car load of stuff - and I could still do more.
Keep having fun. Hope you have lots of great photos - don't lose them.
Eat some good food - try something crazy just because!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having an amazing time away, we have been following your movements. We are very jealous as we have not been away these holidays. My dad was in New York a couple of months ago and the shopping is great.
We are planning a trip to the USA in October this year so we would love to talk to you when you get back about some exciting things to do.
